Presentation

The application eedomus for Karotz proposes different interactions between your system eedomus and your rabbit:

• Reading aloud to the value of your device (on passage tag, voice recognition or planning)
• Action on a deviceeedomus (on passage tag, voice recognition or planning)
• Reading message aloud on demand (activated from the interface eedomus, the rules)

Installing the app on Karotz

The application is available free on the shop Karotz applications with the following link:

Then click the button to install the application on your Karotz.

If you are not logged into your account Karotz you will be asked to do so.

The application for eedomus Karotz can then be configured according to the or modes desired:

Modes

Reading the value of a device

Configuration example for reading a temperature sensor:

1. Enter a profile name, it will help you navigate the application configuration Karotz and may be used to trigger a voice command

2. Choose the profile function Read the value of a device

3. Enter 'API User' (If you have not already, go https://secure.eedomus.com, then 'Configuration / My Account and click Save the identifiers for the API)

4. Enter API Secret (which you received with your username API)

5. Enter the API code for a device you want to read the value (Knowing the API code for a device)

6. Complete the sentence you want to tell your rabbit, the text %% val will be replaced by the value of your device.

7. Configure one or more trigger modes from those proposed (Manuel, permanent, planned, ...)

8. Click OK, it's over!

Action on a device

Configuration example to light a lamp:

1. Enter a profile name, it will help you navigate the application configuration Karotz and may be used to trigger a voice command

2. Choose the profile function Perform action on a device

3. Enter 'API User' (If you have not already, go https://secure.eedomus.com, then Configuration / My Account and click Save the identifiers for the API)

4. Enter API Secret (which you received with your username API)

5. Enter the API code for a device you want to read the value (Knowing the API code for a device)

6. Enter the ID of the action to perform (Visible tab Value of the configuration of your device, eg. 0= Off, We= 100).

7. Configure one or more trigger modes from those proposed (Manuel, permanent, planned, ...)

8. Click OK, it's over!

Language Support

For this mode, there must be at least one profile is created on your application Karotz, if you do not have one yet you can create a kind of Playback TTS, without worrying about settings it will only serve to give voice to your rabbit.
